Freedom High School has worked with St. Jude's for over five years in collaboration with multiple events like charity prom, gold rush games, and various donations. For the past two years, Freedom High School students have sacrificed the traditional prom experience for a charity prom. The 2016, 2017, and 2018 prom have been dedicated to raising funds for St. Jude's. In 2016, the inaugural Hats On Charity Prom raised upwards of $49,000 and the donation amount was similar for the 2017 charity prom. Many DECA students were involved in the process of planning the prom and the idea of a charity prom is catching on quickly throughout other high schools of Loudoun County.

Since Freedom High School has connected with this organization for many years, we would like to continue on expanding our partnership. Freedom High School goes way back with St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and because this organization has a huge impact on many families in the community of South Riding. The people working in the organization are caring, kind, highly educated, and trustworthy.
